About Us
Licensed nursery focusing on edible plants
The Reid Farm is open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We welcome visitors to the farm on these days to browse our large selection of edible plants and fruit trees. We offer a different way to shop because we can show you on-site how we grow the plants and trees that we offer for sale. Our nursery is located on our property where we live. We grow our own food here. Let us show you how we do it!
Edible Landscaping and Food Forest Consultations and Installations
The Reid Farm is not just a nursery. We are a working food forest and homestead. We offer consultations for people interested in growing their own food on their own property, no matter how small or large - whether you are looking to build a small garden or start your own food forest, we come to you and help you design something that works for your budget and your lifestyle. We also offer installation of the plants and trees that we sell in our nursery. Live in an HOA restricted community and want edible landscaping? No problem! Are you a beginner who doesn't know where to start? We can help from choosing plants and trees, mapping out and installing the proper irrigation and installing the plants and trees - we are here to help you!
Food Forest and Homesteading Classes
The Reid Farm offers Food Forest Basics on the last Sunday of each month, which includes a walking tour of The Reid Farm's food forest, tasting what is being grown and teaching what we have learned about how to successfully grow food year-round. Check our website or Facebook page often, as we add a variety of new classes!
